Goal: To produce Corriente Cattle to have longevity and quality as training cattle for cutting horses.
History: For the past 10 years, we have been selecting breeding stock based upon the following criteria. 1. Length of time calf will honor the horse 2. Low cost maintenance
Our cattle on the average: Start cutting about 6 months of age Work 6 months or more in the cutting pen Easy to handle. Easy to contain No health issues Cheaper to maintain than other cattle or buffalos Make good roping cattle after retiring
Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take away our breath.
